BabyJazz Winter Special at The National Gallery - Dec 2017

Our BabyJazz Winter Special at The National Gallery on 14 December was a real blast!

Taking the Dutch Artist, Aert Van Der Neers, 'Frozen River Painting' as our inspiration the sessions explored the winter weather and were joined by three special guests, Rudolph, Santa and Frosty the Snowman!

We opened with the classic standard, 'I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm" and closed with a rousing 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas'.

The response from Babies, Toddlers and Parents was great. Sophie Draper of The National Gallery said;

"The feedback I’ve had from parents is that they really loved the sessions and they’re looking forward to the next ones"

Our Spring Special on Wednesday 29 March is now booking - all tickets £5/child - we hope you can join us!!!

OllyOlly.co.uk is daily guide to baby and toddler activities in London. Our aim is
simple – to make finding dropin activities for under 5s in London a piece of cake.
We do this by giving parents the ability to search by postcode, borough and date. We
have been described as ‘ London's equivalent to TimeOut for babies and toddlers’
and since our launch in mid2014, we have built a strong following in London.

New Venue for Tuesday class

BabyJazz Tuesday class is moving to Highgate!

Our Tuesday drop-in class is moving to the wonderful Woodman in Highgate. To celebrate our launch we will be hosting a FREE class on Tuesday 20th September 11-11.45am. So come along and check us out!

The Woodman 414 Archway Road, Highgate, N6 5UA

Weekly classes Tuesday classes start on 27 September. £8/child (buy pic’n’mix class pass £42 for 6). If you have a question please contact us.

Sadly the move means we wont be able to continue with the Winchmore Hill class at The Salisbury Arms. We have had some really committed mums and the Pub Management and Staff has been very supportive. It’s a great pub.

The sole reason for the switch of venues is distance from home and travel time. Not being a driver, I found the travel logistics too much. Fingers crossed we’ll be back once I get my license.

Until then we want to say a very big Thank You to all Parents who supported us and encourage you to come along to our Bounds Green class at The Ranelagh, Bounds Green, every Wednesday and our Special Events.

The Walthamstow Garden Party

We also had the pleasure of opening for the News From No-Where Stage at the Walthamstow Garden Party Festival with Be-Bop Baby. The weather kept us on our toes with rain one minute sunshine the next but Ruby and Beatboxer DavidX and the wonderful Be-Bop Baby team managed to battle the elements and get the party started.

Feedback from Festival goers was great. Be-Bop Baby described it as 'excellent' and Beatroots, the stage's producers said it was "a fantastic way to open the stage". It was a great Festival and highly recommend getting yourselves along in 2017!

Snap Shot - last 6 months

Having a chance to look back over the last six months its been quite we are all amazed how much we have done and all the love and support we have received.

We started 2016 launching our debut Album, 'Time to Play' Parent reviews have been great and its thrilling to know that our music is being played and enjoyed at home by the whole family!

In March were at The Royal Albert Hall, sharing the world of BabyJazz with Music Professionals for the London Early Years Music Network, LEYMN. The BabyJazz trio also entertained families at Be-Bop Baby 2nd Birthday Party in E17. We ran sessions during 'Health Conversation' Day in Tower Hamlets for Commissioning Health Trust. We also expanded our weekly classes in two new North London venues. At the beginning of June we introduced our new pick'n'mix class passes. Hale End Library - Forest Beats London Jazz Festival

Lovely feedback today from Parents and Staff @Hale End Library, Highams Park E4 at our two Sold Out BabyJazz classes.

Joined on guitar by the wonderful Kim Murray we weaved a musical journey which took in everything from 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love' to the 'Hockey Cokey' and 'The Train Is A Coming'.

The classes were full of happy little music makers and dancers. The youngest of which at 8 weeks was, I am told by her Mum, "wide awake and enjoying it!"

A Big Thanks goes out to Maddy from Forest Beats, Waltham Forest Council, for inviting us to lead this event, the Staff of Hale End Library and lastly the local parents and the babies and young children.
